About this Giving Opportunity
There are many instances of animal exploitation within the tourism industry. For example there are photo animals, animals performing in degrading shows, and elephant camps. There is still a thriving illegal trade in wild animals for pets and medicine. To combat these atrocities it takes both financial and volunteer support.
Below are the main objectives of the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand:
1) Rescue maltreated and/or neglected wild animals
2) Provide sanctuary for sick and disabled animals
3) Rehabilitate and Release
4) Education to stop cruelty to animals
5) Campaign against illegal trade in wild animals
6) Prevent hunting and promote conservation
7) Cooperate with and assist Royal Forestry Department and other organizations with the rescue and conservation of wild animals
