Our More Than a Pet campaign focuses on a critical but often overlooked issue: millions of families cannot access veterinary care or pet resources, putting the health and safety of their pets—and the bond they share—at risk.

Over 20 million families face barriers to veterinary services. In fact, 70% of pets living in poverty have never seen a veterinarian, and there are three times as many pets living with families in poverty as there are pets entering shelters each year. Rising costs of care—up 42% since 2019—make it increasingly difficult for families to keep their pets healthy at home.

The More Than a Pet campaign ensures pets stay where they belong: at home with the people who love them. Your donation helps us:

- Provide no-cost veterinary care to underserved pets, reaching over 570,000 animals.
- Distribute $113 million in pet food and essential supplies.
- Award over $20 million annually in grants to programs increasing access to care.
- Support initiatives like Pets for Life and Rural Area Veterinary Services, which bring resources directly to families in need.
